In the 4 of Pentacles we see a man sitting down and holding onto 4 pentacles as if they are his last source of abundance. In a way, they are. This is a man that is fearful of loss. This could be a fear over losing a relationship, fear over losing status, fear over losing a job, or fear over losing money. The symbolism of this card shows the man tightly holding onto these things, worried that they are slowly going to be ungripped from his hands. When this card appears in your day, you are clinging onto security for dear life. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes we need to keep things close to our chest for security reasons.
