Shaman Stone also called Shamanic Star Stones, Mochi Marbles, Moqui Balls, Thunderballs, are stones of harmony and balance. They are excellent tools for vibrational healing.
I have two sizes I am working with now, I have two small ones that I use between my index and middle fingers on both hands and I have extra large that I put on top of my head by the crown chakra, and under my feet by the earth chakra. When I work with the ones between my fingers I can feel intense vibration and tingling that actually has my skin feel as if it’s being stretched under my my fingernails. It’s almost like the feeling of when you’re bloated. Then the tingling stretches up my arm and I can feel it in my tongue I can feel it in my solar plexus, crown and several other chakras. It’s very intense but when I’m done, I feel physically so much better and of course mentally too. They also enable me to go to higher states of consciousness and aid in meditation and channeling for my clients in my spiritual business. I can’t say enough about using the stones for meditation. They are extremely high vibrational and help develop different psychic senses such as all the Clairs, intuition, and mediumship for those first learning.
Shaman Stones are helpful in overcoming the fear of death and the fear of pain, freeing one to pursue one’s path without limitation. They are stones of the ascetic, helping one learn to overcome physical discomfort in the search for spiritual enlightenment.
Some uses of the Shaman Stone are:
Helps in meditation
Helps unblock psychic visions
Relieves physical discomfort
They are excellent tools in Shamanic journeys
Moqui marbles – living stones, mumbling sounds.. protection against evil eye, keeps “false Friends” a far protection against fire/floods and lightning fertility in family, happiness and life energy improves enjoyment of life, coziness, company, easy to fall asleep – deep sleep – no dreams, relaxing stone, not feeling “bound to do something”, regenerating, immune system fortifying physical and spiritual unity for body, mind and soul resolves blockades, provides light and joy of life, through the energy field around the marbles it provides a feeling of belonging to people, plants and animals.
They are also referred to as “Moqui Balls”, “Thunderballs” or “Shaman Stones”. They have been used for centuries by Shamans and other mystics – considered sacred among the Shamanic members of ancient tribes, they were used in rituals to contact extra-terrestrials, for visioning and for out-of-body journeys.
They don’t need special care, they realign the energy centers, relieve energy blockage, stimulate Chi energy, ground, center and protect, they are equally balanced between grounding and energizing, and act as a connector to the Earth’s energies. Moqui Marbles readily accept subtle energy charges and hold them indefinitely. Treat them with love and they will return it when you need it most.
They are recommended to the user of both the ancient ways and the future ways. Mochi Marbles can be used to align the energy centers, to relieve energy blockages, to stimulate CHI, to ground and center, and to provide protection. Grinding with two Mochi Marbles promotes receptivity to frequencies, which are usually inaudible. The journey with the Mochi Marbles allow one to live to the fullest, while understanding the sanctity of, and performing healing for the earth. Mochi Balls need no special care, they are lovely to hold and act to protect when placed in one’s environments, the energy being like a good friend. Manifested by nature, enjoyed by mankind, the Mochi Marbles brings the synthesis of the male/female duality, and the actualization of singularity, allowing one to recognize the self, and the independence and liberty of ones nature. They are said to have been used for contact with ET’s, for visioning, and for journeying, they were sacred among the shamanic members of the ancient tribes. Mochi Marbles vibrate to the number 4. The number four is about building structure and order. It is a hard working number with much strength and endurance.
Shaman Stones are high energy stones and are powerful allies to have for personal path workings and for healing. In personal matters the stones can connect the shaman with earth energies. They are powerful in grounding and energies. The stones can be used for contacting and interacting with our animal spirit guides.
There are many legends surrounding these strange stones; shamans use them to heal and communicate with other realms and Hopi Indians play marbles with their ancestors to gain knowledge.
Moqui Marbles or Mochi Stones are mysterious sandstone balls covered in hematite (iron ore) and were discovered in the Navajo Sandstone Formation in Utah.
These stones are found in pairs: one more rounded formation which is considered the female and has a – charge and the disk-like formation which has a + charge. They have an uncanny ability to realign the energy body and energy centers immediately, without a lot of mumbojumbo.
When we work with computers all day, or have night shifts or generally get into a negative spiral, our energy polarity (male/female or +/- charge) can get off balance. These stones reboot the +/- energy flow and stabilize the energy field.
***To take advantage of the energy of Shaman stones you need to lie down and relax. Hold a stone in your hand, or one in each hand. If you’re receptive to their energy it is believed that you’ll soon feel warmth coming up your arms. Depending on what your intentions are and your mood, all kinds of fascinating things can begin to happen… or maybe you’ll just faze out of consciousness for a while.
I just started working with these and Shaman Stones (aka Moqui Balls) and the high vibration and cleansing of the light body is quite unbelievable. They are the highest vibrational stones I’ve worked with so far. Tomorrow I will talk about Moqui Balls but today, enjoy this article about Fulgurite! Mine are from Florida’s sand mines. They are amazing!!
Sacred & Spiritual Crystals: Fulgurite: “The Finger of God”
By Andrew Pacholyk, MS L.Ac
The power behind Earth’s minerals can be felt the minute you put a crystal in your hands or near your physical body. Crystals are the treasures of the earth. These stones are filled with energy to be used. So for this Holy week, I will be discussing some crystals with loving, spiritual connections.
Fulgurite: “The Finger of God”
Properties: The lightning stone, fulgurites are some of the most powerful stones and along with the power of prayer, they can help to manifest one’s visions. Fulgurites have a high-frequency vibration and seem to hold a clear, strong resonance with the powerful electrical force that created them. Their extreme “lightning energy” is believed to be the touch of the Divine. This energy, which now resides in them, acts as a magnifier of one’s clearer intention, building a powerful resonance between oneself and the powers of the higher Universe.
Fulgurites are powerful stones for grounding. Their energy can be used to arouse the Kundalini forces at the Root Chakra and move through each Chakra at every level of our light body, purifying and cleansing the entire system. The empowering energy from this stone opens the higher Chakras to Divine energy. It opens and clears the psychic and intuitive senses, encourages our sense of creativity and inner power, allows for assistance with divine prophecy and helps one in rapidly connecting with the frequency of the Universal truth through prayer or meditation. Fulgurite has shown to help one to experience major breakthroughs when kept close and to release habitual patterns that no longer serve us. This a particularly beneficial stone for healers, teachers, psychics and channelers as well as others who need to accurately relay information and guidance from the higher realm. Fulgurite can quickly clear negative patterns from the emotional body and assist in clearing all forms of anger and confusion within relationships. Fulgurite is also excellent at shedding light on the karmic aspects of relationships with others in your life. This stone attunes to both gemini and virgo.
Folk Remedies: Fulgurite has been used for healing blockages and strengthening blood flow in the extremities and capillaries. It is a beneficial stone for strengthening muscles and tissues of the body. Use fulgurite to activate the thymus, improve the immune system, and to balance the nervous systems of the physical and etheric bodies.
Feng Shui: Use in the North area for career and lifepath, in the Southwest for relationships and the West for creativity.
Crystal Cleansing: Keep away from water and heat, as this electrically charged sand will fall apart if you rearrange it’s structure.
History: Fulgurite is the name given to fused Quartz, Si02, which has been struck by lightning and melting sand or rock. The best known fulgurites are found in quartz sand, where the fulgurite take the form of tubes, sometimes exceeding a half inch or more in diameter. This type of formation is called sand fulgurite. As the lightning strikes the Earth and courses downward through the sand, the sand is instantly super heated, melted and fused together. After cooling, hard hollow tubes can be located beneath the surface of the sand, generally decreasing in diameter and sometimes branching as they descend, sometimes extending for several feet. The outer surfaces sand fulgurites are often rough with adhering, unfused Quartz sand grains. The inner surfaces and openings of the tubes are usually smooth and glassy, in some specimens resembling an applied glaze, sometimes with blister-like bubbling present. Rock fulgurites are formed when lightning strikes the surface of a rock, melting and fusing the surface, and sometimes the interior of the rock. The melting point of Si02 is 2950oF. The color of the glassy, fused Si02 varies from pale gray, to smoky gray, to shiny black. The name fulgurite is from the Latin word “fulgur” meaning lightning.

The Moon tarot card shows a tame dog and a wild wolf howling at the moon. There’s a water scorpion (or lobster?) as well. The moon is illustrated combined with the sun, and is centered between two towers.
This card is one of three (The Star, The Moon, and The Sun) that follow the crisis of The Tower.
Keywords for The Moon Card
• Proceed with caution
• An unclear and difficult path ahead
• Slow down & pay attention to your intuition
• Follow your intuition, imagination, and dreams
Keywords for The Moon Card Reversed

• Good common sense prevails
• No more hiding or fear
The Moon Card Explained
The Moon follows The Star, and points out that things may not be as they seem. This card shows up when it is time to trust and follow your intuition.
Be on the lookout for unseen problems, deceptions, and haters. You could easily let your imagination and intuition take you to dark and unfriendly places, so keep your anxiety in check.
Proceed with caution and prudence, but let your intuition be your guide. This card is a very strong call to follow your intuition.
Pay attention to what isn’t said or what isn’t seen. Your imagination and creativity can guide you. You should also be writing down – or at least reflecting on – your dreams. They may have a message for you.
Patterns and Correspondences of The Moon Card
• Major Arcana = the arc of your life’s journey and spiritual growth
• Zodiac sign = Pisces
• Planet = the Moon, of course

Beneficial Thought: Keep Calm and Carry On When Mercury Enters Gemini
Feeling a little restless? Itching to do or say something? Wary of conversations happening around you, and maybe even a little bit paranoid? Or maybe you feel like your mind is all over the place and you can′t get it to just settle down.
We′re all feeling this right now, and that′s because super sly Mercury has flown into its home sign, the Mutable Air sign, Gemini. We′re all literally all over the map, but not for long. So today we′re going to talk about how to keep calm and carry on for those two weeks of here, there, and everywhere when Mercury enters Gemini.
What is Mercury in Gemini?
Mercury is one of the planets that travels through the zodiac signs throughout the year and only sticks around in each one for a couple of weeks. From May 29 to June 12, Mercury will be in its home sign. Mercury rules Gemini, the quick witted Mutable Sign of the Air signs. But Gemini, the double-sided twins of the zodiac, is a little all over the map as well. This is a lot of energy happening all at once!
The themes of Mercury are logic, intellectual thought, inspiration, and communication. Mercury rules Gemini and also the Mutable sign of the Earth signs, Virgo. Where we see Mercury in our natal charts is where we have the most intellect and inspiration in our lives, and where we are best able to communicate. Mercury in Libra, for example, would indicate someone who is very good at communicating and expressing ideas in relationships that have harmony and balance. That′s how Mercury rules.
Then we have Gemini. The Mutable Sign of the Air Signs Gemini is symbolized by the twins, often characterized as Jekyll and Hyde. Gemini gets a bit of a bad rap this way. Yes, Gemini can be super sarcastic, witty, a little double-edged, and sometimes a little bit loose on truth and facts. But there′s an intelligence to Gemini that is highly underrated.
When Mercury is in Gemini, we have the gift of clear thought, objectivity, and mental flexibility. Yes, we can see the shadowy side of Gemini come in during this time frame, but we also have the gift of clarity. But sometimes, the shadow sides win. Paranoia can ruin the best day, and many times, it′s not rooted in anything real. This is why a lesson in keeping calm and carrying on while Mercury is in Gemini is in order.
Your Keep Calm Checklist for Mercury in Gemini
1. Be cool.
One of the reasons Gemini gets a bad rap is because Gemini doesn′t show their cards. They keep cool during their every day activities, and come from a place of reason and logic. If you want something from someone when Mercury is in Gemini, keep cool. Listen, communicate, and don′t react emotionally. Make decisions based on reason and logic and not emotion. You may have to work a little harder under this restless vibe, but you have to actually make the effort to be cool. Look to celebrities like Angelina Jolie (Mercury in Gemini) for a perfect example of that stoic, peaceful energy.
2. Just the facts.
We are talking Mercurial intellectual energy combined with Air Sign energy, which is not emotional energy. It′s logical, reasonable, rational, fact-based energy. To get what you want in any of your communications under this energy for the next two weeks, stick to the facts. Don′t try to use emotion to express what you feel and what you want, use a cool detachment that privileges facts and information before making decisions, like Marilyn Monroe who also had Mercury in Gemini.
3. Don′t get stuck on truth.
Sad to say, truth may be hard to come by under Mercury in Gemini, and you may find yourself flipping between two sides of the same coin. If you are in search of information or accuracy in a conversation and find yourself being manipulated by wishy-washy folks or double talkers, it can get frustrating. At the same time, you′ll see a lot of smooth-talkers during this transit that will focus more on charming you than dishing out the truth. Think Tom Cruise types, as he has his Mercury in Gemini. This can drive us bonkers or up a wall and ruin a day very quickly.
You′re going to see a lot of chit chat because it will be very easy to talk to people under this witty and conversational transit. But that doesn′t mean you are going to be seeing a lot of truth come your way. Best to accept that before going into conversations, or you could find yourself beating your head against the wall. Don′t worry, the truth will come eventually.
When all else fails, write. That doesn′t mean the whole world needs to see it. If ever there was a time when venting on paper was the best medication for your soul, this is it. More emotional means of soul work and keeping calm are not going to be the most effective methods for staying sane under this transit. We WILL feel pulled in different directions. We WILL feel like we are being told 200 stories at once. We WILL feel like we can′t organize our thoughts and we will be distracted by literally everything.
So, write. Get it all out. If you′re mad at someone, write them a letter, just don′t send it. This practice is for you, no one else. If you′re trying to find truth, write out the jumbled thoughts in your head. Don′t try and force information on or from anybody. Ground yourself in soothing energy with crystal healing, by tucking a rose quartz or amethyst in your pocket. Journal until the cows come home, or at least until Mercury moves on into Cancer.
If you are feeling restless and antsy and like you don′t know what to do next, stop. Take a big breath. And relax. You are not alone. This is Mercury in Gemini amplifying some of your fears and paranoias. Do not live in them.
When The Moon appears in a reading, your intuition and your emotions will prevail over intellect in your situation. This is a key reason why this card symbolizes the intuitive Water Sign of Pisces. Pisces is a reflector, and uses their psychic gifts to ponder over situations, and pull back to do so on occasion. There is something missing from the picture, or at least from your picture. You do not have all of the facts at hand to make any decisions, either in love or in play at this time. Follow your heart and your intuition, and don’t be afraid to ask for psychic messages either. Pull back and meditate or listen to your instinct. What is it telling you? The missing puzzle piece is there! It may not be available to you right now, but the night does not last forever, and in due time this information will reveal itself.
The Moon appearing in a reading is an advisement that you are not clear of all of the details, and there is more at play in the situation than you may think. As the Moon pulls back in the night sky, so too does the querent in this situation. You are being asked to pull back. And this is why this card symbolizes the zodiac sign of Pisces, who is known for retreating to the cave on occasion. This card is a darker card in the Tarot, but it does not necessarily have a dark interpretation. Rather this card represents confusion sometimes, and a lack of clarity on a key issue. Here we see The Moon up in the sky, surrounded by darkness and clouds. There is more at play than meets the eye here, there is information that you do not have available to you that is pertinent to the situation you are asking about. The Moon rules intuition and emotions. These are the factors that you must use to seek clarity. Like the Full Moon in the sky shedding light on the world, it’s time to pull back and look at your life and situation from the perspective of The Moon. What puzzle piece are you missing? When you pull back, the Moon reveals that missing piece.
