The Rider-Waite Deck has been around for a long time and has universal themes (you can pick up a deck on Amazon) and The Simple Tarot by Angie Green (TheSimpleTarot.com) is based on the Rider Waite but with modern illustrations and best of all, KEYWORDS right on the cards to make learning easy and fun!
Here I took the quite ominous 8 of cups by Rider Waite and compared it to Angie’s Simple Tarot and you can see the difference even though they’re based on the same themes. This is why I highly recommend getting both decks.
In R.W. (I have to abbreviate or you’ll be sick of reading the names of the decks just as much as I am writing them 😉) you see a nonplussed looking moon, mountains surrounded by water, a man with his back to us walking away from the cups using a stick to aid his uphill path, and he seems to be on a piece of land surrounded by the water as well. If I hadn’t put the cards side by side, what do you think this card is trying to convey? (Please let me know what you think in the comments! I love starting an interesting conversation, especially about Tarot! 🗣)
Now take as look at the S.T. Pretty clear right? I don’t know if I wouldn’t have come up with “Intuition” by the R.W. deck if I was just starting out. Sure there’s a moon but it’s night time. I get the gist of an uphill battle and starting out on a new path, but not from the swamp, looking like small hills that are depicted. In the S.T., Angie has a much more consice interpretation. The moon has the keyword of “Intuition” along with the Mountain has ” seeking a new path” , We see the 8 cups lined up like a pyramid unlike them in just 2 rows in the R.W. The key words “A Turning Point and Voluntary Withdrawal” may not be conveyed as consicely for some beginners.

Mediumship for Grieving
The holidays can be tragically hard when you’re grieving for a lost loved one, especially when you’re trying to navigate to a new “normal” through one of the hardest times in your life. For Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Far Seeing and Imagination
Ulexite
Ulexite is an interesting stone, that may be either colorless or white, and has fiber-optic capabilities.
It is a stone that encourages you to develop the gift of clairvoyance and of far-seeing, either far in time, or far in distance.
It connects the emotions and the mind, to enable you to see what you are feeling more clearly.
It also has the capability to assist you to read the energy and intentions of others, and to stimulate the gift of telepathy, as well as aiding the development of a number of other psychic gifts.
Where Is It From? Ulexite Meaning
This stone comes from the Californian mountains and deserts in the USA. The meaning of the Ulexite name comes from it being named after the German chemist George L Ulex who resolved its chemical make-up.
Its nick-name is TV stone, because of its strange characteristics. If you place the stone on top of written material, and look through the stone at the right angle it may be reflected in the top of the stone, like a TV.
It is not always easy to make this happen, and I have found it difficult to make my specimens of this stone reflect exactly as reported. All of this makes it something of a curiosity, yet this is of no real importance, for those who buy the stone for metaphysical purposes.
It is a white fibrous mineral and although it is commonly white in color, some have semi-clear patches.
It is similar in looks to Selenite, and like Selenite it may melt or distort in some way when put in water, so it must be cleansed with care.
So use one of the crystal cleansing methods that are safe for these types of stones.
Who Should Use It?
This stone will help to enhance your creativity, and may bring through an amazing number of imaginative thoughts into your conscious mind.
It is also an excellent aid to see what is causing a specific problem, and this may aid you to find a solution to what is going on in your life.
The power of Ulexite assists you to look into the heart of another, and know what they are thinking and feeling.
This may aid you if you are going through problems in your personal relationships.
When you use it in daily crystal meditation, it may also stimulate the gift of mental telepathy.
The gift of mental telepathy or thought transference allows for more accurate unspoken communication, so it is worth taking the time to develop.
You may choose to either hold it in your hand, or put it on your third eye, and this of course may depend on how you choose to meditate.
If you desire to find a way to develop your mental telepathy gifts, one of the best ways is to put one of these crystals under your pillow at night.
By having it under your head it is close to the third eye chakra, which may awaken these gifts more quickly. Telepathy is useful for you to be able to use, especially when it is used between two people who are close.

This stone is a powerful stimulator of the imagination and of inspiration. It will help you to free up your imagination, and will aid you if you are having creativity blocks. Sometimes ideas will come through quite quickly, so should be noted down when it happens.
As this may be in meditation, write them down as soon as possible afterwards, so that they will be remembered later. If you were born under the sign of Gemini, it may especially help you, as it is a birthstone for Gemini.
How To Use It
If you would like to boost your ability to utilize the energy of this stone, a way that I discovered that is quite powerful was to use subliminal messaging.
You can combine this with other things you are doing, including using Ulexite crystals.
Subliminal messaging introduces powerful messages into your sub-conscious, and they are barely noticeable.
You can have them playing in the background while you are using your computer every day, which makes them very easy to use.
It is useful to invest in subliminal messaging audio CD’s, as this helps you to boost positive things happening in your life.
Develop Useful Gifts
It is an interesting, quite potent stone, that is capable of being programmed for contacting the angels.
When you pick up a piece of Ulexite it has quite an obvious vibration.
If you go to buy one and you do not feel this immediate energy it may not be the stone for you. If you do feel its energy, it is worth having.
Its ability to help you to see into another’s heart, and know what they are thinking and feeling, can help you to navigate difficult relationships and this can improve your life.
Ulexite is not as common as some stones, but it has some the potential to aid you to develop many useful gifts.

For exciting and energizing the imagination, the strongest stones to combine with Ulexite are Lapis Lazuli and Iolite Stones.
These stones combine with Ulexite, to create a surprising visionary experience, that is powerful to stimulate and unlock your imagination.
Although Ulexite works well on its own to help you to develop your intuition, combining it with Moldavite may aid the process. This is a powerful stone on its own to aid you to develop the gift of telepathy.
You may choose to combine this crystal with other stones that help you to develop telepathic gifts, as some people respond differently to individual stones, and combining them can help you.
You may choose to use it with stones such as Selenite, Petalite, Eudialyte, Blue Kyanite, Natrolite, Phenacite, Blue Calcite and Muscovite.
To boost your problem solving abilities, you may choose to combine it with other crystals that aid problem solving.

Black Tourmaline is the preeminent stone for grounding you, and is also a strong stone for protection from psychic attack as well. Keep a piece under your pillow if you are using Ulexite a lot, to allow you to wake grounded.
For helping you with contacting your spirit guides, or for extra assistance with contacting the angelic realms, combine it with Selenite, Celestite, Prehnite, Angelite or Petalite.
Petalite, Selenite, Diaspore and Moldavite are all strong crystal energy stones that have a high vibration.
When using any third eye chakra stones, and particularly the high vibration stones, remember to keep grounding stones on you when you are using them.

Shaman Stone also called Shamanic Star Stones, Mochi Marbles, Moqui Balls, Thunderballs,are stones of harmony and balance. They are excellent tools for vibrational healing.
I have two sizes I am working with now, I have two small ones that I use between my index and middle fingers on both hands and I have extra large that I put on top of my head by the crown chakra, and under my feet by the earth chakra. When I work with the ones between my fingers I can feel intense vibration and tingling that actually has my skin feel as if it’s being stretched under my my fingernails. It’s almost like the feeling of when you’re bloated. Then the tingling stretches up my arm and I can feel it in my tongue I can feel it in my solar plexus, crown and several other chakras. It’s very intense but when I’m done, I feel physically so much better and of course mentally too. They also enable me to go to higher states of consciousness and aid in meditation and channeling for my clients in my spiritual business. I can’t say enough about using the stones for meditation. They are extremely high vibrational and help develop different psychic senses such as all the Clairs, intuition, and mediumship for those first learning.
Shaman Stones are helpful in overcoming the fear of death and the fear of pain, freeing one to pursue one’s path without limitation. They are stones of the ascetic, helping one learn to overcome physical discomfort in the search for spiritual enlightenment.

Moqui marbles – living stones, mumbling sounds.. protection against evil eye, keeps “false Friends” a far protection against fire/floods and lightning fertility in family, happiness and life energy improves enjoyment of life, coziness, company, easy to fall asleep – deep sleep – no dreams, relaxing stone, not feeling “bound to do something”, regenerating, immune system fortifying physical and spiritual unity for body, mind and soul resolves blockades, provides light and joy of life, through the energy field around the marbles it provides a feeling of belonging to people, plants and animals.
They are also referred to as “Moqui Balls”, “Thunderballs” or “Shaman Stones”. They have been used for centuries by Shamans and other mystics – considered sacred among the Shamanic members of ancient tribes, they were used in rituals to contact extra-terrestrials, for visioning and for out-of-body journeys.
They don’t need special care, they realign the energy centers, relieve energy blockage, stimulate Chi energy, ground, center and protect, they are equally balanced between grounding and energizing, and act as a connector to the Earth’s energies. Moqui Marbles readily accept subtle energy charges and hold them indefinitely. Treat them with love and they will return it when you need it most.
They are recommended to the user of both the ancient ways and the future ways. Mochi Marbles can be used to align the energy centers, to relieve energy blockages, to stimulate CHI, to ground and center, and to provide protection. Grinding with two Mochi Marbles promotes receptivity to frequencies, which are usually inaudible. The journey with the Mochi Marbles allow one to live to the fullest, while understanding the sanctity of, and performing healing for the earth. The number four is about building structure and order. It is a hard working number with much strength and endurance.
Shaman Stones are high energy stones and are powerful allies to have for personal path workings and for healing. In personal matters the stones can connect the shaman with earth energies. They are powerful in grounding and energies. The stones can be used for contacting and interacting with our animal spirit guides.
Moqui Marbles
There are many legends surrounding these strange stones; shamans use them to heal and communicate with other realms and Hopi Indians play marbles with their ancestors to gain knowledge.
Moqui Marbles or Mochi Stones are mysterious sandstone balls covered in hematite (iron ore) and were discovered in the Navajo Sandstone Formation in Utah.
These stones are found in pairs: one more rounded formation which is considered the female and has a – charge and the disk-like formation which has a + charge. They have an uncanny ability to realign the energy body and energy centers immediately, without a lot of mumbojumbo.
When we work with computers all day, or have night shifts or generally get into a negative spiral, our energy polarity (male/female or +/- charge) can get off balance. These stones reboot the +/- energy flow and stabilize the energy field.
***To take advantage of the energy of Shaman stones you need to lie down and relax. Hold a stone in your hand, or one in each hand. If you’re receptive to their energy it is believed that you’ll soon feel warmth coming up your arms. Depending on what your intentions are and your mood, all kinds of fascinating things can begin to happen… or maybe you’ll just faze out of consciousness for a while.
One of the most common ways our passed loved ones let us know they’re still with us is by signs. Signs can be virtually anything and everything in a situation where these gifts seem a little out of place. Anything from birds and butterflies to coins, (from one of my loved ones, I get paper clips, toothpicks, and bobby-pins).
My Grandmother passed away this past December and we were very, very close. At 94, she still saw my children on a regular basis and spoiled them with love and attention. She would play with them the whole time we were there. She would stay with us or with my Mom and we’d have wonderful sleepovers and stay up to the wee hours just talking and laughing. My Nan was just so much more than a Grandmother, she was my best friend. My whole life we talked daily. She was incredibly close to both my children.
And we were so incredibly blessed to have this beautiful bond with her.
When she passed, she was in great health and wasn’t deteriorating a bit. She ended up passing of pneumonia and it was unexpected even though she was 94.
This morning friends had a mass said for her and we all received a beautiful sign from her and two other loved ones that they’re together again and still with us here!
These are the signs that our loved ones send us. I always tell my clients through mediumship messages what their loved ones say they’ve sent and what’s been them. Try not to dismiss these wonderful gifts. You’ll know it’s them when you initially feel it in the trunk area of your body aka chakras 3-6, before your ego or logical mind tries to explain it away. Thank them and remember only the wonderful.
